Fun nights were held providing entertainment for fathers and sons. Along in March, Be-Up- Clean-Up-Week was presented with a gen- eral clean-up of lockers and class rooms. The week ended with a big dance Friday night. The noon entertainment committee provided noon dances and noon movies, alter- nating with intramural basketball, to com- plete the week's activities, Mr. Paul F. Noon Dance AXEMEN'S The entire masculine population of Eugene High School makes up the membership of the Axemen's Council. The governing body is composed of the cabinet, representatives, and senators. The cabinet is President Burt Carl- son, Vice-president Jerry Wilson, Secretary- treasurer Bill Lockyear, Program Chairman Bob Haynes, Special Weeks Chairman Bob Eade, and Noon Entertainment Chairman Bob Booth. One boy is chosen from each roll room as a representative to the council, The sena- tors are presidents of clubs with more than sixty per cent boy membership. Hello-week started the school year off with a bang. A few weeks later the student direc- tory, Axe-Handles, was published under the direction of Jerry Wilson.
