X one whether I'm sane or not, do hereby commence with the dispensing of my vlr tues among the more needy under graduates My overwhelming modesty concerning all my outstanding accomplishments I bequeath to Kaniah McIntosh My habit of cornering some helpless individual to torture with the monologue of my latest 'K 'K achievements I relinquish to Walter Dee Arnold Last and least I leave my soho X Ambition To become a lawyer DIARY OF THE CLASS OF 1947 'KXKX PRE BHMEN lastic record to Kenton Buck, who would have probably graduated anyway Here we are in high school Freshmen already 29 of us Seems funny having a lot of new kids from Lenna and Fame bet they feel funny starting to a new school with new kids After all they will probably run it in a few years It seems as if the other classes are calling us green Maybe they're right, but they were Freshmen once fRemember??J X We made one thrilling trip to Checotah Lake CThat's alll We also sponsored the Home Economics Club X SOPHOMORES One year later we started to good ole S H S again, only 16 of us this time Kwonder what has hapoenedl We aren't so green, but now they call us silly Bophomores It's getting to be a habit we made another trip to Checotah We started a tradition ln our school that has been carried out ever since it was one of serving at the Jr and Sr banquet JUNIORS 'XX XX Here we are again we have made another Jump upwards As Juniors we begun to feel our importance We even associated with the dignified working with them and presented the Jr and Sr play 'Full of Youth' City with the Seniors On Hay lO, we were hosts to the Senior class nual banquet The theme was 'An Old fashioned Flower Garden ' AT LAST SENIORS have now Seniors by directed BC the BD What a year It's all crammed and jammed into putting out the Star Gazette and The Treasure Chest, the first annual that has ever been published at Stid ham We made the trip to Muskogee on a cold wlntery day to have our class plc tures made They turned out to be a great success Our class has been very active ln basketball Five girls and four boys made the team We know you'll miss us No kidding, we'll miss going on those bas ketball trips, too During the last week of Nov we held the annual carnival Our class queen, Pearl Carey, was crowned That shows how popular Seniors are This year our class trip will be to Tulsa, we know we are going to have fun lDon't we al waysvj It's not long until graduation yet we have very little idea of where the years have gone We've learned ln these four years, and had many wonderful times We are going to miss good old S H S very much KKXXXKKKKX XX.
