f for one day during the school year you see ghosts, witches, flashers, even the Statue of Liberty, roaming through the halls of Euclid High School, don't be alarmed. That day could only be Halloween, sometimes the only time all year where students really want to come to school. It doesn't matter how you get a costume, or where you got it from, just as long as you had a good one. Of course, some, like the 'Mac Tonight' of commer- cial fame, are better than others, but any costume will get you candy when you're trick or treating on Halloween night. Who says high school students aren't smart? They found out this way to get free can- dy, didn't they? -Doug Matiaska ff' 1 ,4 '5!9tllkw1l-lui'-v rf X 1 will: 5 , . i :Q 5 , f '- A I ,sf ,gk K y -2 ff ! r 4 S f of 5 X, Q? 3 KN S me Q Halloween Q, E

The magic was seen in over 2000 heli- um filled balloons which suspended spar- kling stars and hearts above the dance floor. White columns with captions of greenery and clouds lined the walls and created an atmosphere of elegance and simplicity. Inside the E-room a disk jock- ey played all of the favorite songs while outside the E-room a roving violinist sup- plied mood music for the couples. The food was up to the high quality that has been associated with Student Council dances and included roast beef being cut by a chef. The usual memory pictures were taken of the couples. More than 250 couples were in attendance and had a wonderful time.
