Many of them planned to go on to college since it has been shown that the average college gradu- ate earns a better salary than one who has not graduated from college. High school is the end of public education and, therefore, money becomes a ma- jor consideration when applying to col- leges. Here are some of the colleges that the class of '88 plans on attending. Susan Knistautas plans on attending Kent and major in telecommunications. Tina Smith plans to be an early child- hood teacher. Matt Ballish plans to go to college to major in photography. Jennifer Spinelli plans to go to OSU with her best friend, Kim Brown. Katie Weakland plans to attend OSU and major in zoology and then become a ceteologist and writer. Adam Stauffer plans on attending Brown University, then Harvard MBA, get rich, married, etc. Julie Barcza plans to attend a good are schooltlike Parsons School of De- signj and spend her junior year abroad. Joel Stewart plans to go to JCU and major in aerospace dynamics. Liz Kuhen plans to go to Kent State. Shawn Kobus plans on attending OSU and majoring in veterinery medicine. Nicolle plans to become either a law- yer or an officer in the Air Force. Seniors emember when we... is a phrase that has been used by people for all time. Memories are what life is made of. Sometimes the only reason for do- ing something is for the memories that it leaves. The only thing that is left after an event has happened are the memories. Euclid students have had many memorable mo- ments. Here are some of the mem- orable moments that Euclid stu- dents share. Susie Guip remembers Prom aid Richard Brentar remembers go- ing to NYC with Stage Band his freshman year. Julie Barcza remembers her AFX experience abroad to the Nether- lands in the summer of '87. Katie Weakland remembers slow dances at Winterfest 1986 and 1988. Todd Uhlir remembers going to school on Halloween as the Fat Boys and winning first place. Denny Coy will always remem- ber all the friends he has made at EHS. Kimmy Brown remembers al- most failing chemistry but having Natasha Spencer as her lab partner. Tina Smith will always remember getting into 12th grade. Susan Knistautas remembers decking Adam Stauffer with a book in English in 11th grade because he was bothering her. Nicolle remembers having Ketan Patel as a 'locker buddy' for the past four years and Homecoming her junior year with the best guy in the world. Shawn Kobus remembers Key Club District Convention 1985, '86, '87. I hope Matt Lunder sees something pretty in there

hrough your lives various peo- ple have come to influence you. The seniors through the past four years have had friends, parents, counselors and teach- ers shape and direct their lives. Many of the heros were just ordinary people but others were extraordinary people such as actors and actresses, music artists and TV personalities. Although seniors have had a vast number of people shape their lives there were only a few that greatly stood out. They were looked up to with admi- ration because they provided great in- sights to everyone. Everyone has had someone that he or she has admired at some time during their life. Here are a few of the people that some seniors admire. Tina Soltesz admires Tina Ilc for her friendship, patience and commitment to her and the unmentionable insignifi- l!lab4a7re... Julie Sterbank admires her parents. Rich Brentar admires Peter Cetera. Joel Stewart admires Mr. Von Benken. Love Hudson admires Oprah Winfrey. Diane Mauser admires Miss B. for listening to all of us and not telling where to shove it half the time. Adam Stauffer admires Big Red McLaughlin. Anonymous students mentioned ad- miring Bob Geldof, Mrs. Fette, since she really knows what's going on here at Euclid and she's a super friend and wishes that there were more people like her, and 'Bit' Wensing. -Bets Tobolewski Classroom teachers are often admired since they help the student relate to problems around them.
