his year's fashion at Euclid was washed out . The pre- dominant fad on the scene was denim. Whether stone washed or acid washed or just pastel, this once true western craze spread and branded Panther fashion. Short sweaters returned somewhat and the minis were strong once again. Safari made its way on a possible last roaring performance and the new trends included Spuds Mac- kenzie T-shirts and tags appearing outside collars. Swatches seemed to be everywhere, with an ever in- creasing number of kinds. With jew- elry, the pharse Hanything goes applied. Reebok's reign persisted as granny boots and flats took over for girls. Colorful socks were worn to match. lt seemed it was a year of flash- backs for fashion. Popular trends echoed the footsteps of fads of de- cades past and although some Pan- thers did not stay with the in styles, they showed their own class with individual uniqueness in dress. Eucfdf il .1064 -Cflwbwfayf-wi-deffffew s if the loads of homework wern't enough, many Euclid students face the added joy of going to work after school. This didn't really make your day, first listening to the teachers scream, then your grumpy boss yelling at the slightest thing, but it was worth it when Friday rolled around and your hand was full with the fruits of your labor. Namely, the paycheck. Although every one would prefer more than what they got, the measly little check did look pret- ty good when compared to asking mommy or daddy for money before go- ing out. ln the positive sense, jobs gave a feel- ing of accomplishment and pride, A strong sense of responsibility came with a job which was hard to learn anywhere else. Students learned a lot from early employment that prepared them for fu- ture jobs of higher importance. Most Euclid students were found work- ing in the Euclid area in such places as Dave's Supermarket and Bernie Shul- man's. lt was also hard to walk through the Mall without spotting a fellow student hard at work in one of the many stores. As bluntly put by some working students. Work is dissapointing but in the end, the money makes it all worth whilelf 'Bill Castrovince will Nicolle Pavlik taking the roast out of the oven eabgugitlf .y'.' :LW A Who is this video junkie? putting Lum Chris Vukovic, 'waiting' for orders Keith McClurkin loves sticky buns jobs
