From giving his all to the Lord? What holds a man back from beating a plowshare Out of his once-bloodstained sword? What holds a man back from truly repenting What keeps a man down in his sin? Why is it when a man thinks he's found the Lord He looks and finds he’s lost again? The vain world’s many pleasures are far, far too great To be resisted by most. But the blessed few who had strength to resist Are now of the heavenly host. Speak oft with the Lord, do his works every day. Make his teachings your daily goal.
