We may not have been as obedient, as kind, or as thoughtful as we should have been; but now as we look back, we realize that, without your guidance, under- standing, and patient work, we would not have reached this era of life. TIME MARCHES ON” FOREWORD We, the staff of the 1957 edition of THE CHIEF, invite you, our fellow class- mates, teachers, parents, and friends, to see through the medium of television a pictorial revue of our last year at Etowah High School. As you leaf thru the pages of our yearbook, may you be reminded of the many friends made here, of the pleasant activities you have shared, and of the successful classroom work you have accomplished, It has been a high privilege to have served our Alma Mater in the publication of this issue of THE CHIEF. We now present proudly, but in a sense sadly, this edition of THE CHIEF in hopes that in the future, as you look through this book, you will be reminded of us and of the good times we had at dear old Etowah High.
