I found out “admitting” my choice to others was even more difficult. Friends would raise names like SMU, Berkley, Nichols, MIT, Holy Cross, University of Lowell, etc. When I was asked where I was going after high school graduation I'd sort of mumble Essex Aggie and quickly change the subject. Well, I got involved in as many activities as possible, met new friends, broadened my educa- tion, an d had a great time doing it. With all my student activities, work, and a social life, I’ve spread myself very thin, but I wouldn't trade this past year for anything; (well, maybe a gallon of chocolate chip and some sleep)! I now know that you can get a good education without sparing the fun, and you don't have to go to Harvard to do it. I hope you had as much fun as I did and learned as much about yourself as you did about your school this year. Good luck in your future, as it is now upon us.
