CombatCargo his deployment ' s Combat Cargo team was made up of dedicated, hardworking b. Marines and Sailors. The flight deck team were responsible for the safe loading and unloading of all troops, mail and cargo from the helicopters. The Well Deck team handled the Upper and Lower vehicle decks. They were respon- sible for maintaining a safe and secure area for the loading and unloading of troops, cargo and vehicles aboard LCACs. Personnel and equipment safety was always a top priority during every evolution. Thanks to the professionalism and dedication of these Marines and Sailors, Team ESSEX once again proved her mettle.
