From the knarled knotty roots up to the thick, sfurdy, trunk and through the long, swaying hows to the whispy tree tops,' we follow the barky pain of education. Hiawatha and Summit Street Schools, the grounds of our learning, gave us the roots of our knowledge—reading, Siting, and 'rithmetic taught to the tune of the Hickory Stick . . . On to Fleming and then Albert I). Lawton and Essex Middle School where we gained our educational foundation that sturdy trunk of knowledge. And now, after these four years at Fssex Junction High School, we have chosen our separate paths, and our knowledge has branched out into limbs and twigs. Some are experts in Mathematics and Science, taking derivative and finding integrals with ease, others have become authorities on Shakespeare, Milton, and Frost, but what next? Off to the University and tire-good ol' college tree! Off to those wispy tree tops, swaying in the brisk autumn breeze. The world is ours to conquer, and the sky is the only limit!
