Class History FRESHMAN As Freshmen we were in Room 9 in the old high school under the supervision of Miss Foster and Mr. Dirmaier. We elected the following officers: Jimmy Kenney, President; Bob Ward, Vice President; Jean Brandberg, Secretary; and Joan Kellogg, Treasurer. Our Student Council representatives were Jimmy Kenney, Bob Whitcomb, Janet Parizo, and Connie MaGee. John Duncan and Bob Whitcomb walked for the Kake. Joan Kellogg and Jean Pillsbury were our candidates for Kake Walk Queen. SOPHOMORE Our Sophomore years we were in rooms 11 and 12 with Mr. Walcott and Mrs. Cilley as advisors. Our class officers were: Judy Anderson, President; Bob Ward, Vice President; Jean Brandberg, Secretary; and Butch Bergeron, Treasurer. Student Council representatives were: Joan Kellogg, Judy Anderson, Connie MaGee, and Bob Whitcomb. Our first big task was to put on the Freshman Reception. It was a big success. Albert Cass was Master of Ceremonies. Peter Fredericks and Ronnie Bacon walked for the Kake. Peggy LaFever and Tom Chase were King and Queen of the Kake Walk. JUNIOR Our Junior Year found us in Room 10 with Miss Foster and Mr. Grady as our class advisors. The following were elected as officers: Albert Cass, President; Peggy LaFever, Vice President; Jean Brandberg, Secretary; and Ray Halnon, Treasurer. We chose Jean Brandberg, Albert Cass, Ray Halnon and Peggy LaFever as representatives in Student Council. Judy Anderson was elected Secretary of the Student Council. In October we received our long-awaited class rings, which we had ordered in our Sophomore year. This has become a tradition. Our candidate for Kake Walk Queen was Janet Parizo. Ray Halnon and Mat Stevens walked for the Kake. SENIOR In our Senior year we moved to the new high school, rooms 8 and 10, with Miss Hapgood and Mr. Dirmaier as class advisors. Class officers were: Tom Chase, President; Ray Halnon, Vice President; Elaine Boutin, Secretary; and Beverly Gokey, Treasurer. Albert Cass was elected President of the Student Council and Judy Anderson was Secretary. Student Council representatives were Tom Chase, Jean Brandberg, Jimmy Kenney and Peggy LaFever. Jean Brandberg was editor of the Commentator. Joan Kellogg and Tom Chase were Co-Editors of the '58 Sabre. Our class and the faculty chose Joan Kellogg as the D. A.R. Good Citizenship Girl. Maureen Sexton was our candidate for Kake Walk Queen. Ray Halnon and Mat Stevens walked for the Kake.
