This dedication is but a small token of heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Seniors. We, to whom they have devoted so much of their time and energy, have profited much through their guidance and their efforts to mold us into intelligent men and women. This book in part is the fruit of our high school education, and it is our sincere hope that we have done justice to our teachers through the years. I am glad to have this opportunity to congratulate you, members of the Class of 1957, on your achievements. You have been successful in many things, I predict many successes for you in the future, but success can be quite elusive. Some people who made success their major goal in life found that success continually danced along the road just out of reach ahead of them. Others whose aim was to do their best each day were surprised to see success coming down the road to meet them. Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 1957. As a class and as individuals, you have contributed greatly to E. J. H. S. The publication of this Yearbook is an example of the effort, cooperation and self-reliance necessary to success in any endeavor. I hope the lessons learned in this and other projects serve you well in your adjustments to adult life. MRS. MELBA MASSE Junior High Math Physical Education Coach of Girls' Athletics MR.
