' i As anyone knows, working with students often demands all the patienee a teaeher can find, and then some. Many people have to be satisfied, not to mention the vast amount of time and energy that must be devoted. One of the teachers who gives his time and talent unselfishly is Mr. William Dockery. He may be reciting a passage of French history, or suggesting possible dates for SCA dances, or shooting pictures of school activities, or playing basketball. Often times, you may find him just “rapping”. Wherever you see “Doc”, you’re sure to see a bright smile, hear a friendly “hello”, or have your picture taken for a newspaper or yearbook. With all this, he still has time to be a real friend offering assistance freely. And so, we the class of 1972 thank you for being the great teacher and person you are. Thank you for making our days in school more pleasant and rememberable. With this in mind we proudly dedicate our 1972 yearbook to you, Mr. William “Doc” Dockery. Hold it. Smile. Nice picture. 16
