a va SJ Class Poem «x3 Although we are departing from Essex High, Our memories of this treasured time will never die. Though we have had obstacles in our way, We have managed to accomplish much every day. For these things we are more than grateful; To us, you have been extremely faithful. It is here that we ' ve built a foundation; That we ' ll withstand the most challenging situations. To our teachers and principal, we express our gratitude. For such great ideals they instilled in us that will last thro ' adulthood. The teachers have performed their job very splendid; We cannot acknowledge all the services they have rendered. For all of these services we are greatly in debt; For all of their devotion; for all of their help. Whatever success in life we achieve, A portion of the credit they must receive. We look back over the years with joy and a sense of pride. It will never be fully realized how hard we had to strive. We are leaving our thanks and appreciation to you, dear Essex High, Although we can never really say good-bye. We hope in our hearts that Essex will continue to lead All who strive to learn, grow and succeed.
