DRIVER EDUCATION As a Junior the “Do's and Don'ts” of driving were drilled upon. Learning the car's mechanics and operations was part of theory-training in the classroom. Thanks to Miss Veenstra, the State Drivers’ Examina- tion was less difficult, because of the con- stant practice on proper interpretation of road signs and reflex testing on the Reflex Timer. In our Senior year, we drove “the” car, applying all of the theory we had learned. Under the expert direction of Mr. Stan- ziale, our driving instructor, we learned to relax and gain more confidence as we drove. ADOLPH STANZIALE Driver Education e DBERT R. Participation in all recrea- tional facilities by the students d uring the school day is under the supervision of committee chairmen, usually the school officers.
