Through this organization the mothers of Essex students spon- sor closer parent-teacher co-operation, promoting the scholastic interests of their sons. Monthly meet- ings encourage parent participation. And the mothers, by their dedication, raise funds for the school and charitable organizations. The annual card party, the maior fund-raising affair of the year, was a huge financial and social success, while lectures, a fashion show, and a Christmas party highlighted the schedule.
