For here the Chemistry Club members work on their projects, check accumulated data, and seek advice. The club has emerged as an active organization, striving to enrich the regular chemistry course, to provide career guidance, and to train students in the regimen of science. The club accomplishes this through field trips, movies, and guest speakers, as well as discussions and lectures each month. The science of biology cannot be con- fined merely to the world of the lab- oratory. Because it encompasses all phases of life and growth, it must be pursued on a much broader scale. This then is the purpose ofthe Biology Club-to make the study of biology a truly comprehensive endeavor. In this eFfort, the club's members have taken numerous field trips, studying nature first-hand. Their finds were ex- hibited at local science fairs. FIELD TRIP complements textbook knowledge.
