For fifteen years Mr. Desmond has been teaching metal shop. He has taught us a variety of things, and he made his classes interesting as well as fun. For your wisdom and for your dedication, we thank you very much. CLASS ADVISORS JANICE GERSHLAK and JIM LEONHARD Words of Gratitude Farewell and adieu says the senior class, With projects and days off the time it does pass. But alone we would struggle and be unorganized, Yet lucky are we, and keenly supervised. The lines of this poem show thanks to those two, For persons of wisdom there are very few. Mrs. Gershlak and Mr. Leonhard have helped in many ways, With class meetings and Prom Committee — in the past are the days. From 4A to 4B to the teachers from we, A big THANK-YOU, a small good-bye, the graduates to be. Leaving isn’t easy and often it brings tears, Especially when you’ve known someone for four long years. And now it’s time to wrap it up, cause all this comes to an end. We won't forget you, and remember always... You’ve got a friend. — JASON STYS This poem is dedicated to our class advisors Mrs. Gershlak and Mr. Leonhard for their time and energy that they devoted to the Class of ’89!! uy mis Michael J. How could anyone contain himself in front of a teacher who enjoyed taping his nose to the side of his face, and then told us he would teach us how to do it if we behaved! Most of all, we learned how to make decisons during our sophomore year. I’m sure we would all agree that our fondest memories came rom the last two years.
