There were anxious moments now and then, especially before deadlines, but somehow we managed to complete the book. It has been my pleasure to work with the staff. My special thanks go to Chris Moll, our editor, who gave freely of her time and energy to help overcome the numerous difficulties encountered in putting a yearbook together, and to Mr. Harold Kelly who gave generously of his time to help us keep excellent records and to give guidance whenever needed. To The Senior Class of 1974: As I left the position of Chairman of the Animal Science Dept. to ac- cept the challenges of the Assistant Dean's position at the Essex Agri- cultural High School, so will you seniors have to face the challenges of tomorrow. Many of you will be accepting positions in the fields of your endeavor -- others will continue their formal education to reach for what you hope will be an even greater challenge and reward. The manner in which each and every one of you handle these chal- lenges and problems will determine your happiness and success. I am sure the vocational placement program and the contact with stu- dents from all areas of the country has certainly helped prepare you for tomorrow. My sincere regards for your future.
