é yeh, aie RTS a eg -! Direetor Sus F Gell Dean To the Graduating Class of 1973: Congratulations, As you approach the culmina- tion of your education at Essex, I am sure you realize that you were here during one of the most trying yet exciting periods in the history of the Institute, The uncertainty of the Associate De- gree was not resolved until the beginning of your Senior year, Then came the trying experience of transferring from the Certificate to Associate Degree programs, resulting in night classes, ex- tended school year and qualifying examinations, It was my privilege to work with you during this transition, and it was gratifying to see your dedi- cation of purpose and spirit. My personal thanks go to the members of the Stu- dent Council and the Staff of the Midnight Ram- bler for their fairness and cooperation, It is be- cause of the diligence of these two groups that your ranks will be swelled by more than sixty for- mer graduates who will receive their Associate Degree with you on Graduation Day. As you leave Essex, I wish each of you the best of luck and every success, Sincerely, Vernon PT Etl Raymond F, Potter RICHARD B, ADELMAN B.S. Colorado State M.A.T.
