FRONT: D. Rollins, G. Cervinek, B. Daigle, J. Noll, M. Spilman. BACK: Mr. Kramer, M. Morse, R. Murphy, R. Rieser, M. Bonauto, F. Reynolds. An excellent performance was given this year by sophomore Mike Bonauito. Mike arrived in prime condition this fall as a result of his partispation in the “Jog and Log” program during the summer. The jog and log program is employed to condition runners for the Sept. meets. Mike recorded four miles per day during the summer months of June, July and August. Other students have indicated their interest to start in the conditioning program during the summer of 72’. Four juniors are to be commended for their depend- able service this year. Along with Mike these people were there faithful for practice. Gordon Cerninck, Bob Daigle, John Nill and Richard Rieser. Few peo- ple knew that Richard continued to run with a severe leg injury until he was forced to stay at home because of doctors orders. Two of our freshman bolstered the team this year by placing often in the meets. The boys are Dan Barry and Fred Reynolds, are excellent prospects for next yearteam. The Competion will be more eqitable in 1072 but we need more runners. 12

YEARBOOK STAFF: LEFT TO RIGHT: Tom Lafoe, Franf Gitschier, Chris Carson, Gary Burke, Norm Gallant, Bruce Thibodeau, Debbie Sargent, Bill Smith, Mr. Fraser — Advisor, Drew O’Connell. Yearbook Editorial Staff Co-Editors Chris Carson, Norm Gallant, Debbie Sargent, and Bill Smith. 13 The measure of sucess of This yearbook pub- lication rests mainly with those closely involved in it’s production. The class of 1972 is fortunate inhaving some capable people eager and willing to contribute their time and effort unstintingly. It has been my pleasure to work with likeable, enthusiastic young people who have managed to overcome the many difficulties encountered in putting together an outstanding 1972 edition. There were a few agonizing moments but the satisfaction of a job well done for outweighed them. We hope all you who recieve a yearbook enjoy it as much as we who put it together.
