DEDICATION Mrs. McCarthy came to this school at the beginning of this year. Since that time, she has helped to bring about desperately needed changes. Aside from being a teacher and coun¬ sellor, she has shown personal concern for the welfare of the student body. She has helped us decide where we are going and what we are doing. In the years to come, whether we succeed or fail, we will always remember Mrs. McCarthy. This yearbook is just one of the ways of saying thank you, Mrs. McCarthy. In the short history of our school, many teachers have come and gone. We forget ma¬ ny, but some remain in our memories for the rest of our lives. There are times when being a teacher is a very difficult job. One must be interested in each student as an individual, and exhibit a true desire to teach. But true desire is not enough; a teacher must be knowledgeable. We feel that Mrs. Barbara Frizzell has shown all of these traits. When she leaves the Escuela Americana, we hope that she will be able to take with her some good memories. The yearbook staff sincerely thanks her for her efforts, and proudly dedicates this year¬ book to her. Adios y Buena Suerte.
