F Ioats Accent Theme For 1969 Homecoming Homecoming 1969 marked the fourth year since -EHS has had Float Year. The ASB Cabinet and each class began building their floats with the theme, Moon Exploration, a month before Homecoming. Homecom- fing night each float carried the royalty representing ., .the respective classes. The Sophomore Class won the -float competition for the best representation of the theme. A new method of choosing the king and queen was introduced. The Senior Class not only had a king and queen but also a prince and princess. Results of the elections were not announced until Homecoming night. , ' L in the Homecoming tradition, the alumni showed their enthusiasm both at the pep rally and the game. Last year's cheerleaders participated in the afternoon peprally and received corsages from the 1969 cheer- leadersq The floats, alumni, Homecoming court all added to the splendor and excitement that became Homecoming. 1969. jFAR LEFT: Last year's Homecoming queen.
