The main purpose of Students Against Drunk Driving is to educate students, teachers, and members of the community about the dangers of drinking and driving, stated Tim Moran, president. This is the second year SADD has been sponsored at Ikcambia. There were 25 members in SADD this year. This organization was open to all students. This year SADD participated in a car bash, T- Students Educate Pubhc on Drunk Dnvmg shirt and button sale, and a pot-luck dinner. USADD is a national organization started as a result of a very impor- tant need - the need to make stu- dents aware ofthe dangers of driving drunk, commented Mrs. Webre, sponsor. We hope by making stu- dents at EHS aware of the problem, they will become a part of the solu- tion to this national tragedy N w. fa V f V flx 7-gd? 5. .

Library assistants helped keep the library in Working order. This year 's number of assistants came to about 35 people including both se- mesters. In order to be a library assistant, you had to be signed up in curricu- lum after having been approved by the school librarian. Students who participated in this did not receive a grade or credit for this, but did get a citizenship mark in their report cards. N J 'C Library assistants make it Work We file books, clear tables, make sure books are in order, and tabu- late the number of students who flow through the factility, stated senior student Carolyn Williams.
