Office assistants consisted of mfg, main office, guidance, dea.n's and at- tendance assistants. They did a number of important errands and assisted in answering the telephone, writing check in and out passes and helping teachers. I enjoyed working in the main of- fice, answering phones, stated Becki Varney, junior. To be an assis- tant you had to sign up in curricu- ,A .4 Office Assistants help to keep school running ' 1 ' T 'v ' -- -. - Y - , lum and get permission from the of- fice you were to help in. Students did not receive a grade for this, however they did get a citi- zenship grade. It help judged on the student 's attitude and willingness to work.
