4'We have accomplished through- out this year to become more unified and have better club spirit, stated Becky Archer, president. We par- ticipate more in many more activi- ties. .M Anchor has made many countri- butions to the community over the past year. Some of these have in- cluded working at the special olym- pics, helping freshmen with orienta- 5 tion and helping with the blood drive. The main goal, as sponsor, I To become more unified is Anchor 's main goal hoped to achieve was to advise the girls and to make sure club func- tions were adequately supervised, stated Miss Juanita Villanueva, 5 year sponsor. Some ofthe things Anchor partici- -ev pated in throughout the year to raise money were a Pilot pancake breakfast, candy sales, doughnut sales, and gram sales. In order to be a member of An- chor, one had to maintain a 3.0 grade point average throughout the year. FBLA, Future Business Leaders of America, was a club divided into five chapters and thier sponsors are as follows: FBLA-A, Mrs. Sandra King, FBLA-B Mrs. Melba Andrews, FBLA-D, Mrs. Mona Sandiford, FBLA-E, Mrs. Vondell Adcox, and FBLA-E Mrs. Beth Puckett. There is no difference in the sep- arate chapters of FBLAQ' stated Mrs. Vondell Adcox, Each business teacher just sponsors her classes. There was no special GPA. re- quired for FBLA, you simply had to be in a business class. The com- bined number of members totaled about 110, leaving approximately thirty-five for each chapter.
