UNi m 1 MM - • 1 ■ LfK : Hi ‘ M Council Opens Communications The Student Council was busy accomplishing its goal of opening the lines of communication between students, faculty, and administrators, and the community. The council used several methods to attain this goal, such as sponsoring a school newspaper, the Eski News, and appointing representatives to gather information within the community from community organizations, PTA, ESCALON TIMES, and the Recreation Commission. Linda Betcher, Marlene Rader, and Bob Galloway worked to make student opinions on several issues known. The council also subscribed to the ESCALON TIMES so that the activities at Escalon High could be posted in the halls. Student Council's other activities were a Trans-Valley League conference held in March to exchange ideas with other schools. The council supported repainting and new letters for the marquis above the pool, and a litter drive. 5. Linda Rampoldi reads the morning bulletin. 6. Student Council.
