New Faces, New Ideas Eski's faculty was a mixture of old and new faces. Mrs. Christine Betts, Mr. Marlin Moreno, Mr. Byron Verzy, and Mr. Tom Love were Eski's four new teachers. Mrs. Betts, formerly known as Miss Bogomaz, is a graduate of UCLA. Mrs. Betts taught at Montgomery Jr. High of San Diego and Annunciation and St. Luke's, both of Stockton. Mr. Love is a graduate of San Francisco State who has taught at Dent and El Portal Middle School. Mr. Moreno attended Fresno State, Stanislaus State, and Modesto Junior College. Mr. Moreno has taught at Valley Home Elementary. Mr. Yerzy graduated from Cal State Chico. Escalon High School is his first teaching assignment. The Escalon High School teachers got involved with rallies by participating in the sketches. They also participated in student activities such as fund raising sales and school dances. Mr. Martin G.
