J »js VISITOR DOWN QUARTER TO-GO 7 VARSITY F00TBALL 15 Cougars Roar Through Season Even though the Cougar Varsity lost several seniors and were playing many juniors, they kept on rolling. Among the outstanding players were fullback Eddie Nunes, tackle Ron Rocha, guard Neil Hodgeson, end Brian Ney, quarterback Mike Hawkins and guard Jeff Kyle. The loss of quarterback Brian Greer could have made the offense inconsistent, but Mike Hawkins filled in adequately. The offense was molded around the running of Eddie Nunes while the defense formed around the front four of Jerry Fuller, Dave Garcia, Ron Rocha and Steve Drewry. 5. Cougars romp and stomp on Livingston. 6. Dave Guintoli runs for long yardage. 7. Mark Franceschetti kicks off for Eski.
