In Appre Dr. Norwood E. Jones Principal of the Erwin School 1956-1966 For their contributions to Erwin As we think back over Dr. Jones' ten years of service to the Erwin School, we first remember looking to him in awesome wonder. But as we grew older we also grew closer to our determined, capable leader. Each day our respect, admiration, and affection grew for him. In this spirit, we dedicate this page of the 1967 HOURGLASS to Dr. Norwood E. Jones for his direction, determina- tion, and sincere devotion to the Erwin School.

MRS. EMILY THOMAS One, who devotes her time and services to the betterment of others and the improvement of the school, she has helped encourage us to accept the challenge of life. By fulfilling the responsibility of giving us good sound advice, she has helped make us what we are.
