Foreword The Redskin has long been a traditional part of Erwin High School. One sees the emblem on our school rings, on notebooks, and even on license plates. The Redskin is a symbol of our high athletic rank, sportsmanship, and high standards of conduct and service. Dedication We, the graduating class of 1963, are honored to be able to dedicate our annual to Mr. THOMAS OLIVER DAVIS. One of the characteristics we remember most is his outstanding smile and his amazing humor. We cannot name all of his extraordinary qualities; but there is one that comes first to our minds---his devotion to the school, to the church, and to his family. We, the Senior Class, think that he is one of the most outstanding teachers in Erwin High School. We feel that dedicating our annual to him is only a small token of our appreciation for all the things that he has done for us during our high school days.
