Also, in France we find the world's two most famous artists, Alice McLean and L. C. Norris, who have finally stopped trying to out do each other. Instead, they have combined their efforts to form the largest art gallery ever built. Having left France, we are now moving swiftly toward Africa. If we are lucky, we may be able to see John Dowd, the billionaire, who has come to Africa with Louis Joseph, owner of a chain of large department stores, todo some big game hunting. Accompanying them on this excursion are their wives andalso John's Secretary of Treasury, Carol Toth, and his Executive Secretary, Edwin Stone. Bobby Brown has placed Dale Butler and Thomas Howard in charge of his diamond mines here. They claim that the movie stars, Brenda McDon- ald and Judy Strickland, are their best customers. Hurrying along now, our next stop is China. Oh, did you know that this is where Jane Eanes and her husband are living? Perhaps you've read Jane's book, One Thousand Waysto Serve Rice, which won a Publitzer Prize last year. Those two women on our right are Sue Reardon and Shelia Thornton. They come here every day and beg those poor little silkworms to produce more silk and, from what I hear, their begging pays off. Isn't this exciting, folks? We have just left China and already we are in Australia The sad looking shepherd standing with his flock is Raymond Moore. Raymond is sad because he has traveled all over the world looking for a place without annoying females ; however, he couldn't find one. Spending such a snort time in Australia means that we will arrive in Asia a little ahead of time. Working together, Tommy Smith, Mike Stephens, Wilbert Strickland and Jerry McCaskill have gained control of most of the oil fields in Asia and have made it the largest Oil Corporation in the world. Taking care of the books for them are Mary Alice Davis, Majorie Parker, and Virginia West. Time is getting short so we hurry on to Alaska. Jerry Hudson and J. C. Melvin bought a small track of land in Alaska while it was still a young state. Recently they discovered gold on their property and placed Edward Pope in charge of mining operations. Behind us is a large sporting goods store owned by Edward Norris. Edward believes in testing all his equipment personally; therefore, he hired Keith Strickland as his manager. 28

Peggy Hester Class Prophecy Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I am very glad that you could come with me today on the first public trip around the world in the 1980 Whizmobile. This most unusual method of transportation is the result of five years of study and research by Douglas Cameron, President of Chevrolet Motors Inc.; Wyman Autry, owner of the world's largest dragstrips; and Woody Woodall, owner of Kaiser Motors Inc. Due to the fantastic speed of this amazing vehicle, the trip can be made in lessthantwo hours. It will take us a little longer today, however, because we will be making a few stops to visit some important people. By the way, speaking of important people, I see several passengers that J would like to introduce to you. The little old lady staring out the window is Mrs. Doris Jackson. Poor soul, she never was quite the same after leaving the '61 Senior Class of Erwin High School. Shelton Price, the distinguished gentlemen in the back seat has made quite a name for himself as a debator. Beside him is his most efficient secretary, Caron Ann Bethune. Also with us on this trip is Frankie Messer, top airline hostess for T. W. A., and Larry Odom, editor of The New York Times with his two assistants, Ronald Stewart and Larry Godwin. Walter Tripp, our driver, has just signalled that he is ready to leave. By the way, Walter won the Best Driving Award in 1979, so the best thing for you to do is sit back, fasten your seat belt, and enjoy the trip. I hope that you remembered to bring your coats because our first stop is in Greenland. Here we find Captain Norman Avery, Lieutenant Frank Marks, and Lieutenant Kenneth Byrd in charge of Air Force matters in this area. Under their command are the capable test pilots Corbett Hall, Earl Core, and Larry Crane. These men have spent so much time in the air that they can almost fly without planes now. As most of you probably remember, Lloyd Maynard was a very suc- cessful electrician while he was in Erwin. However, here he has had quite a bit of trouble with the floor furnaces he installed in the Eskimo's igloos. We must leave Greenland now, but our next stop will be in France. After establishing the La Robe Shoppe in Paris, Wanda Lee and her top fashion designers, Judi Martin, Linda Norris, Sue Warren, and Martha Watkins have astounded the world with their unusual creations. ea,

We are now in Canada and the fur store on your right belongs to the very shrewd fur dealer, Donald Byrd. His ex-secretary, Martha Raynor, thoroughly enjoyed her job until she decided to see how she would look in a bear skin coat, without first making sure that it wasn't still being worn by the bear. On your left you can see the summer house of Linda Faircloth. She and Drucilla McDonald are really in the loot since they wrote their best seller, How to Get a Man. Our trip is almost over and IJ haven't told you about the people in the states. Carolyn Whittington is working for Doctor Everette Thomas as his secretary and it's easy to understand why. Since Doctor Thomas and Edward Ivey, the local undertaker, made a business arrangement, the money seems to be rolling in. Bennie Hall, a very smart lawyer, also gets part of the profits, since somebody made a complaint. Did you realize that most men have their teeth checked once a week since Gayle Ennis, Diann West, and Ann Niedzwick became Dental Hygien- ists. Wayne Vann, one of the best qualified engineers of our time, Paul Dawkins,an Army General, and Governor Daniel Williams are working on a top secret project at present. But it's no secret that Willard Barbour, Bobby Bradshaw, and Arthur Raynor's comedy team is the funniest thing that's hit Hollywood in a long time. Janet Truelove has also made quite a name for herself in Hollywood with Thurman Wilbourne as her agent. Joyce Thomas is Janet's personal beautician and Patsy Pope, her private secretary. The playboys around Hollywood these days are Kenneth Howell, Ed Caldwell, andNorman McLean. They still believe in the old saying, love makes the world go round. Lecturer Sandra Ralphand her secretary, Elaine Manning, have made ten trips around the world. During these trips, Sandra has delivered speeches to the most prominent ladies’ clubs. She obtains some of her information from the well known Professor Eric Vernelson. Scientist Larry Colville and his assistant Margaret Deck have invented anewtonic called ''Age No More. At present they are still improving it, but within a few weeks it will be on the market. Ladies and gentlemen, the first public trip in the Whizmobile has been completed. Ihope that you have enjoyed it enough to go with me on another trip. Until then--goodby. 29
