Prophecy Letters, letters, and still more letters - this one comes from Paul McClanahan. Paul, an instructor in the field of architecture, has just designed the new Capitol Building. What a job that was! Wow! The class of ‘60 is represented in SPORTS ILLUSTRATED. Ronnie House, star quarterback of the Balti- more Colts, has been chosen as the most outstanding quarterback in pro-football. He is really a great passer, and I understand that Earl Moore, his teammate, makes a great receiver. Now this is really unbelievable. Dr. Bill Hudson, a very capable surgeon, has been presented a medal for the best surgeon of the year. Bill specializes in heart operations, and I've heard that Barbara McCaskill, who is now a surgical nurse, is always ready to help him. This letter is from Jerry Manning, coach of the No, 1 basketball team in the nation, the UNC Tarheels. I always knew he enjoyed basketball, and now he has his own team. See this photograph? It's Charlie Lee. He's been chosen to serve as ambassador to India. He is really mak- ing a very successful career in the diplomatic service. You haven't forgotten Jesse Godwin, have you? He is the president of the Yellow Cab Company. I've heard that he has as his secretaries, Barbara Williams and Elizabeth Moore, two of the very best students Mrs. Mattox had in her business education classes. Here's the local newspaper. Glenn Johnson is the owner of a very well-known auto repair shop. I have heard that Larry Parker, editor-in-chief of the DUNN DISPATCH, and that Rudolph Reeves, a lawyer, visits him frequently. No class would be complete without a minister. This note is from the Rev. Kenneth Byrd, who is doing much for the betterment of the world. Kenneth Byrd writes that Glenda Haire is soloist in his church. I know you re- member her beautiful voice. Oh! Another letter. This one is from John Baker, the operator of the chain of food stores known as the A P. His excellent secretary is Judy Stephens. By the way, Judy also models in her spare time. Here's a news item of interest. Ray Thomas is the new announcer of W T V D's presentation of an upcoming Hillbilly Show starring Larry Bradshaw and his Mountain Dew Boys. This should really make a big hit. Oh, boy! Another letter. This one comes from Frankie Smith. He has just been elected President of Duke University. I suppose you know that Janet Hollingsworth is Dean of Women there. Last, but not least, is this letter from Kenneth Strickland, a great rock-n-roll singer. Why, he's even more popular than Ricky Nelson. Well, that includes every member of the Class of 60 except me, and I must get back to the hospital and to my patients. Mickie Crawford Prophet
