You will soon be leaving your favorite high school with its “hallowed halls of knowledge” to venture into the adult world where you can right the “wrongs” of the world and bring justice where there is so much injustice. You will soon have the chance to work your share of miracles so you can leave this world in better shape than it was when you came into it. The opportuni- ty to build a better life for yourself and your loved ones will make itself available to you. I pray that you will have trained your talents, built your skills, and developed your wisdom to the point that you can recognize and take ad- vantage of this opportunity. Make yourself a success. Each person has his own idea of what success is. Develop your own ideas, think positive, be flexible, work constructively (be part of the 68% who are satisfied with their jobs), be resilient and you will become a builder, a giver, a contributor, and not just a taker. I wish you well in your undertakings and I hope you have developed the skills to be able to handle the achievements and successes that will be coming your way. This is important, too. There will be some failures in your lives, too, for those come into each of our lives. But don’t let them defeat you. Whenever you hit bottom, you have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start building again. This is where things like character, work habits, perseverance, training, play such a big part. You will be making a multitude of decisions, both important and not so important, but they are your deci- sions. Make the best of them. If we, as a school, or I, as an individual, can be a help, please contact us.
