We appreciate her thoughtfulness and understanding in helping us better ourselves by being an excellent teacher as well as a friend in our business courses. We have all come to love and respect her. We know Mrs. Skeen will never lose her charming smile and friendly way.

Goward The ‘‘Pioneer’’ is designed to leave our classmates a few reminders of the memorable 1977-78 school year. As we thumb through its pages in the years to come, our thoughts will journey back over that trail of many memories — the trail that will become longer and much more important as we grow older. We, like other young people, have had our ups and downs, but now that we are about to begin a new phase of our education, our happy memories at Ervinton High School become more precious. We hope we have included some memories that you, too will treasure in later years.
