As your assistant principal, I have enjoyed working with each of you. I hope that you realize that your high school graduation is only a pause in your education and not the end of it. I can only hope that each of you has gained a good enough background on which to build a most successful future. I hope that each of you will realize the ambitions that you have developed here at Ervinton High School and may you put your trust in God and strive to be trustworthy men and women. 7

To the Class of 1968: During your years at E. H. S. you have experienced many types of learning experiences; in the classroom, through club participation, on the athletic field and in social contacts with other students and faculty members. As you experience the challenges of the age of automation and space travel, it is my sincere wish that you will find that your learning experiences at E. H. S. will be beneficial. Graduation is only the start of success; your success will be determined by your ability to recognize and take advantage of those opportunities which face you each day. Accept the responsibilities that are now yours to make the United States the greatest Free Democratic country of the world. My sincere wishes for success goes to each of you.
