BACK Row-Keith Wolf, Robert Eller, Stuart Gilbert, junior Wolf, Buddy Anderson, Coach Albert Spandau, Bob East, Billy Allen, Robert Hensley, Vernon Rody. Coach Albert Spandau started athletic activities at Ervin by producing a base- ball team that won the first five games on the schedule only to drop the last two. These five victories were enough to insure the Eagles,' of the West-end championship and the right to meet the Beavers of Greentown in the county play-off at Highland Park in Kokomo. Here the Eagles ran into difficulty and were downed 10 to 3. By going through the west-end schedule without a loss the Eagles of the 1941 baseball team upheld the winning streak over West-end teams which now covers ive seasons of play. This record being started in the fall of 1937 by the team that won the county championship for Ervin. ERVIN SCHEDULE OPP.
