When she dies she leaves the shop to her nephew, Pat Farnum. Pat brings his future bride, Katherine Strong, to see her new home and when she learns that he has inherited a beauty parlor she is anxious to leave him, declaring that she will never marry a man who runs a beauty shop. So Pat gets busy and presses his friend, Mike Byrd into service, telling the latter that if he will operate the beauty parlor all profits will be shared with him. Word spreads around town that Mike spent a year in Paris studying beauty culture, so he is compelled to demon- strate his ability. And without even knowing it he is expected to marry Betty Belmont in spite of the fact he already has a wife! Mike explains everything to his wife, Pat and Katherine are married and all turns out well.
