Faculty P7'i1ZCiP6ll,S Message Four short years ago, you members of the Class of 1954 entered upon your high school careers. As you think back to that September of 1950, try to recall your feel- ings at that time. Why were you here? What did you hope to accomplish? What were your ambitions? Probably most of you were not too sure, you were probably a little afraid, a little hesitant about embarking on this venture, and your only real hope was that somehow, you would finally get through the four years and receive the coveted diploma. But during these four years, many of you have achieved enviable records as scholars, as athletes, but most important of all, you have developed the responsibility and at- titudes which will make you valued citizens in the society of which you will become a part. Whatever you may attempt after june, 1954, do with your utmost, whether it be further school, armed services, or any occupation. Take pride in whatever you may do, do right because you know it is right, not because you fear what will happen if you do wrong. WM
