11 H3 .1 t r X5 'K Required Courses Gan Be Fun Seaholm has only a few requirements as far as Social Studies courses are concerned. One-half credit of American Government and one credit of American Studies must be taken to graduate. The American Government credit may be fulfilled by taking one of two courses. These are American Government and American Government Basic. Usually students take American Government in their senior year, although some students prefer to take it in their junior year. The credit in American Studies may be fulfilled in many ways. The courses that may be taken to complete it range from one quarter credit to one credit. This enables students to complete the re- quirements in one year or spread it over all three. 1. Marci Oldham reads excitedly in her Social Studies Class. 2.
