One who selflessly gives of his time and energy for others. There are many volunteers that preform this commendable deed for the benefit of the community. Volunteers are young and old people alike. Both groups have things to offer their community. A great many organizations would beat an enormous loss if they did not have free services which many Birm- ingham volunteers have to offer. Volunteer workers have become a necessary part of our community.
