I I MR. FRANK ANTHONY Principal Working together for the common good of all is the most positive Way for any group, team or organization to achieve its objectives. To have the capacity, mental and physical power and will- ingness to cooperate effectively and whole-heart- edly for the common good of all is an indication of a suitable and purposeful organization be it a business, a factory or a school. The ability to cooperate and Work together is one of the most striking characteristic attributes of Technical High School. This was the consensus of opinion of the Education-Business-Industry Day visitors to Tech last November 11. Included in the list of guests were: the Superintendent of Schoolsg 5 top exec- utives of industryg 3 clergymeng 4 personnel directorsg 1 newspapermang and 8 industrial su- pervisors. The purpose of E-B-I Day was to give the lead- ers of business and industry an opportunity to observe students at work, in the classrooms and shops. They observed, first-hand, the teacher at workg the use of modern up-to-date educational techniquesg the methods used in teaching specific skillsg and how instruction was being given in the related and academic classrooms. They ob- served how boys and girls were being taught the basic fundamentals of understanding their respon- sibilities to one another and to the school in gen- eralg an understanding of human relations and how social problems affect workers, management and the entire community, state and nation. They observed boys and girls gaining knowledge and learning facts about mental and physical fitnessg developing worthwhile attitudes toward Work- creative workg about pride in their Workg the meaning of greater productivity, and to become inspired with an eagerness to learn more and serve his community better. The E-B-I Day visitors were very complimen- tary to work performance of the boys and girls, of the work of the professional personnel, and the objectives of Technical High School.

LIFE ADJUSTMENT EDUCATION The teachers and the administration of Technical High School have tried to help you develop those habits which will make it easier for you to solve the many problems that will confront you upon graduation. It is our earnest desire that you will have learned to assume sufficient. responsibility to do your own problem solving. If you can carry away from Technical High School the ability to use proper techniques of recognizing, attacking, and solving future problems, your education could then really be called Life Adjustment Education.
