Ceremonial mace of Erie County Technical ln- stitute represents the authority ofthe President ofthe Institute as vested in him by the Board of Trustees and the State University of New York, lt was pres- ented to the college at commencement exercises in June T966 by Spencer C. Kittinger, Chairman ofthe Board of Trustees. The mace was designed and handcrafted especially for the Institute by artisans of the Kittinger Furniture Company.
