The first game was with Annawan, and Erie was proud of their boys when they came home with a victory of 32 to 12. Port Byron wasn't so good to us but we can't win every time. This time the score was 52 to 12. Better luck next time. We defeated Hillsdale at our third game. The score margin wasn'ttoo big -- 32 to 25, but we beat them and that's what counts. Our game with Prophetstown brought us a big victory. Our boys managed to win this game by 15 points. Good work boys, hope you can do as well when you play Prophetstown again. The score for this game was Tampico-565 Erie-20. In other words Erie got beat. We also were beaten by Annawan by a score of 32 to 19. That's two games in a row we lost, 1et's try and do better with P-Town. Hurrah! The last game of the season and we won. The score was Prophetstown 28 and Erie 32. We ended the season with a record of four wins and three de- feats. Good work arid good luck for next season. The football scores are as follows: Erie Opponent 32 Annawan 12 12 Port Byron 52 32 Hillsdale 25 40 P-Town 25 20 Tampico 56 19 Annawan 32 32 P-Town 28 54

Joy of joys we won all the conference games and of course came out in first place. We started out the season by winning the first four games. During the season we accepted with good sportsmanship the losses due us, and yelled with all our might whenever we were on the winning side. We didn'tdo too well in the Fulton Tourney, and we placed third in the Two-Rivers Tournament. However we accepted our trophy with a smile remembering that we might have got fourth place. 56
