The history of our class begins on September 2, 19157, when fifty- six of us green1es stormed the door of E.C.H.S. to begin a new era in our lives. We chose as our officers Don Smith, presidentg Ann Feas- ter, vice-presidentg Jack Stoudt, secretaryg and Donna Hasbrook, treas- urer. Miss Lola Davis was elected advisor. Initiation Day , on October lOth, was one of the main events of the school year. In return we sponsored a Halloween Masquerade all- school party on October 30th. We also enjoyed a hay-rack party in the fall. The class started as Freshmen to be enthusiastic participants in extra-curricular activities and has continued to uphold this tradition during four years in E.C.H.S. Our second year began on September 7, 19148, with fifty-three class members returning. The following students were elected officers: Franklin Benson, president: John Freude, vice-president, Gerie Bock, secretary, and Marlene Smith, treasurer. Mr. Hein was chosen advisor. We started our Sophomore year by giving the Freshmen a bang-up initia- tion. We also sponsored the annual Christmas party and an all-school Valentines's party. The year l9L3.9 saw forty-seven Juniors eager to make that year the best one yet. We elected as president, John Stoudtg vice-president, P'aul Culp, secretary, Jackie Maukg treasurer, Leola Koesterg and
