Principal Actors in the Junior Class Play CLeft to rightl-H. S. Lewis, L. Brooks, J. Bealer, W. Bugbee, J. DeCap. M. Davis, D. O'Nei1, J. Cooking, L. Ashdown. 'I'he night of' November li' wa s a big success fo r the Junior class. The play Springtime for Patsy , directed by Mis s Nelson and her assistants, was a terrific hit. Although play rehearsals were hard work we all enjoyed them and when the final curtain went down it was hard to believe that the play was over. Our hard work was well rewarded by a very anpreciative audience. When the play opens, Patsy Holliday, anadorable sixteen-yenrh old tomboy, simply doesn't care for men. She changes her mind when Todd Burke, a rugged hunk of man, comes to board with her family. Along with her friend, Taffy Wilson, Patsy proceeds to land him by taking the advice fwhich she misinterprctsb of' Jane Wallace, a col- umn writer. Patsy's original b oy friend, Chuck Ramsey, is quite diSgllStGd at this and starts chasing Lucybelle honeychild Lea. Then Patsy is accused of' trying to poison th e whole family with some biscuits she makes, but it really is only an accident due to her brat sister, Ginger. Mary Austin, an English teacher, finally gets Todd Burke for her very own, and Patsy realizes that she had better stick to someone her own age, Chuck for example.
