BAND The band, following an active summer in which they wo n second place at the Illinois State Fair, once more go t into the swing of school with the presentation of Cardinal Capers. The pep band dis- played their school spirit at the homecoming foot- ball game, and all the home basketbalel games. In the early spring the band very capably participated in Musical Minatures which wa s presented by' t he music department at E.C.H.S. Spring also saw the band busily preparing fo r the district contest with eligibility fo r the state contest as their goal. R M ec S M M
