The Freshmen grew and grew and before we kzxew it they were sophisticated Sophomores. They were really swell arzd from the looks of thelm, E.C.H.S. is assured of a mighty f1r1e graduating class in 'S3. Seated Cleft to right?-Advisor, Miss Soadyg president, Ron- ald Kuykendall: vice-president, Ruth Ann Fiet. Standing--Treasurer, Pat Dillong secretary, Rodney Holland. Sophomore Class History Back to the halls of E.C.H.S. came thirty-nine smiling mem- bers of the Sophomore class on September 5, 1950. No longer were we the babies , but could look down upon a ne w class of Fresh- men. We properly welcomed these new F'reshies by a bang-up ini- tiation on a sunny day in late September. For o11r officers we elected Ronnie Kuykendall to succeed Paul Ellison as president: Ruth Ann Fiet took over Jayne Scott's post as vice-president: Pat Dillon succeeded Janet Littrel as treasurerg and Rodney Holland took Jean Kaeoker'splace as secre- tary. Miss Soady was elected our advisory last year we had Mr. Langdoc . With the football season came Homecoming. We all pitched in to win second place on oxxr float and help cheer victory. In December the class sponsored t119 annual and gift exchange. We served refreshments axxd joyed by all. The class participated in extra-curricular great enthusiasm, too, taking part in sports, tlme boys on to Christmas party dancing was en- activities with musim FJHAU F.H.A. and G.A.A. As all good things must come to an end, so must this school year. We only hope that next year, when we are Juniors, we will have equally as much fun.
