We want to thank the Juniors f or all the pleasant memories they gave the Senior Class of '5l. They were willing workers and gave a prom that will be long remembered. Junior Class History Seated Cleft to right!--Advisor, Mr. Heing president, Jim De- Capg vice-president, Beverly Roselieb. Standing-Secretary, Lyle Brooksgtreasurer, Margaret Verhulst. It seemed only a short time ago that we were a group of won- dering Freshmeng yet on September 5,l95l, thirty-three Juniors were waiting to begin their third year in E.C.H.S. A s Freshmen w e soon became acquainted with our classmates. The officers elected were Jim DeCap, president: Beverly Roselleb, vice-presldentg Mary Davis, treasurerg Janice Bealer, secretaryg and Mr. Koser, class advisor. Initiation was held on October 8,l9LL9. A return partywas then given for the Sophmores on November 16. These were the main events in our Pressman year. The next year, as Sophmores, things started nicely, by elect- ing ou r class officers which w ere Wayne Bugbee, presldentg Lois Ashdown, vice-presldentg Jane Miller, secretaryg Janice Brightman, treasurerg and Mr. Hein, advisor. We sponsored the initiation which was lots of fun. In Decem- ber we sponsored the Christmas party,danc1ng and refreshments were enjoyed. This was our second year in E,C.H.S. We began this year by electing o ur class officers which were Jim DeC ap, presldentg Beverly Roselleb, vice-presidentg Margaret Verhulst, treasurerg Lyle Brooks, secretaryg and Mr. Hein, advisor. Our class play Springtime 1' or Patsyj was presented in t he fall, being successfully directed by Miss Nelson and Mr. Hein. To put aclimax to activities of the year the Juniors gave the annual banquet and prom with music by Stan Stanley. 'me prom chair- men were Frances Slaymaker, Lois Ashdown, Margaret Verhulst, Shir- ley Suter, an d Carol Firch, who were a great help in making the prom successful. We found thatthe class had taken part in many activities. 'me boys have taken part in football, basketball and track. Other mem- bers o I' the class nave taken part in musical activities. We also haveagreat number belonging to the G.A.A., F.H.A., F.F.A., Girls' and Boys' chorus, ban d, pep band, and some have parts for the musi- cal in the spring.
