was fixed up as a room an d a stork carrying victory was flying overhead. Prizes were given fo r the two best floats. The first prize went to the Senior class and the second prize was won by the Sophomores. The parade wa s led by the band with Pat Dillon, Betty Suter, and Joy Meyer twirling batons. They were followed by the queen and her attendants in converti- bles decorated with streamers in the school colors aft- er which came the football team and the floats of each class. Mary Appleby wa s crowned queen of the Homecoming during the half of the game at which time Jack Stoudt, one of the co-captains, presented her with a dozen red roses. The queen's attendants were Lois Hawk and Donna Hasbrook from the Senior classy Janice Brightman and Frances Slaymaker, Juniors: Jayne Scott an d Ruth Ann Fiet, Sophomoresg and Sondra Guthrie and Mary Jo Reis- enbigler, Freshmen. The climax of the affair was the dance in the high school auditorium with music by Jimmy Marvin an d his orchestra. The grand march was led by Paul Culp, the other co-captain, and Mary Appleby, the queen. . ...ES-tn.-...46...M
